Joe Biden claims that world leaders are still reaching out to him for advice.

Even after stepping down amid increasing criticism and doubts about his leadership, former President Joe Biden asserts that he is still being sought after by global and political leaders, including heads of state from Europe, for his guidance.

While speaking at the Society for Human Resource Management convention in San Diego last week, Biden caught the audience off guard by indicating that he still serves as an informal advisor behind the scenes.

“I’m receiving calls, and I can’t go into details, but I’m getting inquiries from several European leaders asking me to get involved,” he mentioned during a discussion with SHRM President Johnny Taylor, according to the Western Journal. “I’m not [getting involved], but I’m providing advice. Because things have changed.”

A video of the conversation, posted on X by Democratic strategist Chris Jackson, features Biden speaking in a calm yet sometimes hesitant tone, shifting from soft-spoken to passionate mid-sentence.

“You know, I often pose the question rhetorically: if America doesn’t take the lead in the world, who will?” Biden stated, raising his voice. “No, no, this isn’t a joke. Not because of power. Who can bring it all together?” He also mentioned that lawmakers from both parties still seek his counsel.

“I’m talking to a lot of Democrats and Republican colleagues, and they all want to have discussions,” he mentioned. “Not because they believe I have the solutions, but just to share ideas with me.”

One of the most confusing parts was Biden’s transition: “I’m also leaving tire marks with my ’67 Corvette on my driveway,” he continued.

Critics quickly jumped on these comments, labeling them as disconnected and representative of what they claim are larger problems during his presidency.

During Biden’s time in office, the U.S. dealt with increasing inflation, high gas prices, and ongoing challenges at the southern border. His time in office concluded with rising pressure from within the Democratic Party, leading to his choice not to run for re-election.

The administration also encountered several controversies, such as the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the scandal involving Biden’s son, Hunter. The decision to issue preemptive pardons for individuals like Dr. Anthony Fauci and Hunter Biden drew more criticism, especially regarding the use of autopen signatures.

A recent ICE report intensified the situation, showing failures in vetting sponsors for unaccompanied migrant children, some of whom were later harmed by their caretakers.

Critics say that all of this makes it even harder to trust Biden’s claims of being a reliable advisor.

“Considering the chaos, confusion, and credibility problems that plagued the last years of his presidency, the thought that foreign leaders are still looking for his advice is… quite bold,” remarked one political analyst.

For those who oppose him, these remarks follow a well-known trend — yet another instance where the former president mixes up his legacy with delusion.
